Statement of Purpose

In my country, the Mexican Space Agency will conduct a nationwide training program in Cansat projects, through which, space technology education will be provided by the development of space projects such as the creation of a Cansat device. I will create and develop a strategy to train professors from all states of Mexico in the development and implementation of space projects of the CanSat type. This will be accomplished by creating study programs, technical manuals and basic prototypes in order to teach space technology from an online platform with all this content and together with common classroom courses. In addition to this, courses and competitions on CanSat prototypes will be held in different categories through all the nation, which will focus on providing the students with learning methodology development in a real space project.

Feedback from CLTP program

All people from CLT were incredible kind and support all the need of participants. We all had the opportunity to develop and test a small satellite project which help us a lot in understanding and having more information about real spacecraft development.

Vision for the future

I will be conducting training courses as well as working together with universities and college institutes in Mexico to standardize the teaching of space science and technology, starting with CanSat courses and competitions.
