Statement of Purpose

"We are a participant in the great unfolding of cosmic events... I belong to something bigger than my daily routine" (Tyson, 2020) This quote summarizes my purpose for attending Cansat Leader Training Program (CLTP). Having a clear understanding of developing satellites provides the ability to collect a bird's eye view and data-driven insights into the current situation of the different parts of the country. By joining CLTP, it provides the opportunity for capacity building in developing satellite communication. better data communication in remote provinces, better monitoring of critical weather conditions and infrastructures.

Feedback from CLTP11

CLTP program had provided an end-to-end experience for the design and development of a Cube Satellite known as HeptaSat. Through this program, it enables a system-level overview on how a single satellite can be built from start until launch. The pool of teaching assistants, professor, and classmates has been very helpful to ensure to ensure well-rounded learning experience.

Vision for your future

As a citizen of a developing country, I believe that capacity building on space industry provides significant opportunities available to improve the operational efficiency of data collection systems. I think what is necessary is a cost-effective method of applying space technology in a developing country setting. The main reason is that space is expected to require a significant budget. If there's a method to improve the cost effectiveness and efficiency without sacrificing reliability, then there's a better chance on making the technology more accessible and more impactful.
